H&M Canada provides all employees with milestone anniversary gifts, celebrating continuous employment for 5, 10 and 15 years.
H&M Canada may reimburse an employee up to a maximum of $5,000 per year for continuing education through an accredited program that either offers growth in an area related to their current position or that may lead to promotional opportunities. This education may include college/university credit courses, continuing education unit courses, seminars and certification tests that are job-related.
When employees have worked within H&M group for 5 years, they will receive a share of the foundation, HIP Units, based on working hours and on the company’s financial development. Employees can receive payment when they reach the age of 62 or retire from H&M, whichever is later. The HIP plan is registered with the Canada Revenue Agency as a Retirement Compensation Arrangement (RCA). As such, withdrawals prior to retirement are not permitted. If you are a former H&M Employee, you can only receive payment when you reach the age of 62.
